Iron-hematoxylin stained
- Spherical or ovoidal
in shape, 12-20 micrometer in diameter
- Cytoplasm may
sometimes contain dark-stained, cigar-shaped
chromatoid bars
- Nuclei are relatively
large.
- Each nucleus contains
concentric karyosome, and
peripheral chromatin evenly distributed
